Course Aim
On completion of training the course members will be able to:
- Operate the Electric Pedestrian Operated Truck model used during the training course, safely and correctly in accordance with the Manufacturers Operator Procedures Manual and accepted good operating practices.
- Show their understanding, by clearly stating the causes of instability of trucks and loads.
- Carry out correctly the routine pre-use inspection of the truck in accordance with the Manufacturers Operator Procedures Manual.

- Operation of hydraulic controls
- Traction battery care and maintenance

- Handling laden and unladen pallets

- Lorry loading and unloading from a loading dock environment
- Stacking/de-stacking and where applicable to the truck type, bulk and industrial pallet racking location systems
- Operators safety code
- Lift truck stability
Certification and Validation
Candidates successfully completing this course will receive a certificate of training accredited by either RTITB or ITSSAR
